    Perhaps reading more?

    If you can't think of what to write, why not reblog or post things that you found interesting? If you can't find enough of that.. that's an issue.

    do you mean i should read more blogs? i dont know if that would be possible...i devote a large portion of my day to reading.

    and i'm not big on re-blogging - if someone else has said it first then that's good for me. As for sharing, that's what I use Facebook and Twitter for.

    I think I just need to reevaluate my needs and how to go about fulfilling them. But like I said..I think boring is what I need right now :)

    Not like social media blogs... just thought provoking stuff... or
    offline reading... sharing what makes you think, to me, is just like
    writing.

    Boring's not so bad. People ask me what I'm doing... and I generally
    just answer "Work."

    See, this is why the best Comedians are troubled, and the best music is written, or paintings created when the artist is sad. Depression or sadness really has a way of forcing some people to express themselves in profound ways. Think back to when you sort of stopped listening to your favourite band, or watching that super funny TV show...and the usual culprit to the decline in quality is usually because the artist fell in love, found happiness, and had babies.

    You know, nice boring stuff.

    But I agree with ceonyc's comments. If you find your own life not as exciting, you are still opinionated and a good writer, so maybe feel free to comment about current events, which means you need to read more (news).

    I do think Twitter has jumped the shark already though...I mean, I keep reading various tweets, and it's all just one big snoozefest.

    Ooh, I'm watching the new Entourage/brushing my teeth/waiting for the bus/blah blah blah...
