I totally agree about the whole gift giving thing. I know that we have had this conversation before Zoe but those are really good examples.
Acually, I learned all I know about gift giving from my friend Kathleen. Although she does give gifts for birthdays and Christmas, she always manages to get something that is really special and meaningful. It takes time, effort and thought that most people now-a-days just dont feel that they have.
Over Christmas she sent me this hot pink Hockey Night in Canada T-shirt from the CBC website because she knew I was missing hockey season (being in Australia and all)...
Ive never really posted before so I apologize if its too long but can I give you some food for thought to finish with...
Ever feel that North Americans have forgotten how to hug properly...guess its lost along with the art of real gift giving.
(PS I know youre a stickler for punctuation Zoe but my question mark and apostrophe buttons are broken, lol).

Alas, I gained the much discussed "travel weight"...and the shirt does not fit (not even half of me) but I do have for the day when I can wear it once more ;)
